New BJD and Nyoko Completed!

Sorry for not posting for a long time. It’s time to update you all in what is happing in my bjd world. I had ordered a ResinSoul Mei from Denver Doll Emporium and received her on December 5, 2011. She came like what most people have said, loose. So I ordered her new strings and new eyes from the Junky Spot. The wig that I had originally got and intended for Willow didn’t fit. The wig was too tight to fit over her head. So now Nyoko has it and Willow is wearing Nyoko’s original wig. I had no idea that Willow would look good as a blonde. That was a nice surprise. What I need to do for Willow is to restring, put in new eyes, hot glue suede, and find perfect fitting clothes.

Nyoko is now complete! With the cocktail pink/peach pink wig (that was meant for Willow) and the new outfit I got for her recently. I had no clue how cute she looked in the cocktail pink/peach pink wig. It complements her eyes well. The new outfit I got for her is from Denver Doll Emporium. It’s a Yo-SD 5StarDoll dress with head piece. I also got her new shoes to go with the dress which is a red Yo-SD 5StarDoll shoes. Now she looks like a cute Anime girl! I think I will never change her again and keep her this way.

Nyoko's New Eyes

I got these eyes from DDE. They are 14mm GLIB Poppy colored eyes. These eyes aren’t totally new; I had them for a while. It was hard to put them in (has the little pegs in the back of the eyes) so I gave up and put the eyes (that I got for free) that Mint on Card sent me with Nyoko in. So I was bored one night and decided to try and put the Poppy eyes in. It was a success! I like these eyes better than the other ones.

Update

BJD news! I am planning on getting a ResinSoul Mei in white skin. I am not sure when I will put the order in yet because she is sold out on DDE (Denver Doll Emporium) and I rather buy her when she is in stock.

I have little plans for her so far. I am going to name her Willow. (^_^) And I am now back into the Thundercats. Their new show is awesome! If you are not watching then you should be. And I am mentioning this because I am thinking of making Willow a Thundarian, that the idea was inspired by the show.  Yay!

The Best Of My Dolls

It will be a long while till I get another bjd. So I decided to post some of the most popular pictures of the dolls I have so far.

The big pink hair girl is Fuyuko (Two.S.Doll) who is holding Nyoko (DragonDoll Dragon Girl). And the two dolls that are sitting next to each other are Akina (Hujoo Berry) and Ren (Obitsu).

I could only post three pictures of Fuyuko because the other pictures that I wanted of her loaded sideways instead of vertically.

Obitsu Tip: Stain Removal

I though it will be helpful to tell the people who owns Obitsus how to remove stains. When Ren (my 27cm Obitsu) had blue stains from the Barbie blue jeans that I put on her I tried using Mr. Clean magic eraser and soap combo but that didn’t get much off. So then I tried the Mr. Clean magic eraser and Comet (which has little bleach in it) combo. It worked so well! The blue is in some places (very few) very lightly. I am not sure how this would work for everyone else but it worked for me. So if you get some color stains from clothes on your Obitsu try the Mr. Clean magic eraser and Comet combo. I hope this helps. ^_^

My iPod doesn't show the remaining stain. But it's there! And the pants that cause the staining.

Obitsu: Ren

My frist Obitsu is here! She arrived yesterday June 22nd. I am very happy with her. An awesome friend ordered her for me and I paid them back. Her had is a little bit babbly but that can be fixed once I put a new neck piece in. Warning: Do not put Barbie blue jeans on the Obitsu! I had a pair on her for a few hours and already parts of her turned blue. I got most of it off. Thank goodness. The blue is barely noticeable now. So now she is just wearing old Barbie pajamas that say Sweet Dreams on them. Here are some pics for you guys to enjoy. ^_^

Obitsu

I am finally going to get my very first Obitsu. I think they are also considered ball joined dolls from what I have read and heard online. I am getting the 27 cm doll body with a head that has rooted pink hair with her face already painted. She should arrive sometime next week. I can’t wait! I will write a review and post pictures. So stay tuned BJD/dolly people. ^_^

Hujoo Berry

I finally got my Hujoo Berry from The Junky Spot. Even though she isn't made of resin like the traditional bjds she is still awesome. She is made of ABS plastic/vinyl and can fit into Blythe and Bratz clothes. I found that she doesn't fit into the old Bratz clothes I had for m when they first came out. So I am to buy her some recent Bratz clothes. I don't have any Blythe clothes for her yet. She will get some soon. I named her Akina which mean a spring flower in Japanese. DragonDoll Update

Sorry for this very late update. I had a lot of stuff going on. So anyway my DragonDoll DragonGirl arrived on May 11^th. I found that a wired coincidence because Fuyuko arrived on February 11^th. Anyway back to my DragonDoll DragonGirl who I named Nyoko. When I opened her up she stunk of fresh resin. X_X  Her knees are a little hard to bend and one of her eyes is bigger than the other but I still love her.

Ordered: DragonDoll Dragon Girl

I ordered a normal pink skin DragonDoll Dragon Girl today from Mint on Card. She will be my second bjd and her name will be Nyoko. Hopefully she will arrive on Monday or Tuesday. I have her eyes already here and I ordered her a dress. All I need for her is a wig, socks, shoes, and panties. Then she will be complete. ^_^ Hopefully I can post her pictures here without any problems.

The BJD Company from China released two new SD sized dolls! They are the Dorean - Sweet Dream and Vivi. You can pre-order them from Mint on Card.

I ordered a new wig for my first BJD Fuyuko. I ordered her a LEEKEWORLD LR001 Gina wig in pink cocktail.  I will post a picture of Fuyuko in her new wig as soon as I get it.

I hope it comes soon along with the eyes (Color: Poppy) for the new BJD that I am planning to buy in June. I am planning on buying a DragonDoll Dragon Girl. I can’t wait to get her and take pictures of her. ^_^

BJD Backfire & Ultimatum

I finally had gotten the money I need for the Luts Lemon doll and put the money on a visa gift card. When I tried to buy her I failed to notice that the card said that the card was valid only for the US. So to my disappointment I couldn’t buy her. So I had to go on a ‘mission’ to find a US dealer that sells BJDs. After 3 hours I found a site that has dolls that caught my action with clothes and shoes that I don’t have to look all over the place for. The BJD that I hopefully to get is the Two.S.Doll Sweety Dorean from http://www.mintoncardinc.com/.

My first soon to be BJD

Like I said in my last post, I will be getting my first very own BJD. The BJD that I want to get is Kid Delf Girl LEMON from Luts. She really caught my eye and when I looked at the other Kid Delfs I kept comparing them to her and none of the appealed to me more than Lemon. I almost have enough money for her. I can’t wait to get her. I have a name picked out for her, which will be Yume meaning dream in Japanese. I picked that name for her because I had dreamed for a long time for one and now it will come true when I get her. I have somewhat of a story for her. All I know is that she is going to be immortal and she lives in dream world where she visits children’s dreams and plays with them. The story might change, I don’t know yet. 

How I got into BJD

I have been interested in the BJDs for two years now. The first time I saw one was in an Anime convention and I was mesmerized by the look and style of the doll, never before I had ever seen a doll like that. I had no clue what kind of doll it was but I knew in my mind that I got to have one. After a year has passed I found out that the doll was a BJD after looking around on youtube at some anime videos that somehow lead me to dejavudea’s BJD videos.  Then from her I found Alysonsfriend’s BJD videos and then found The BJDcast. I have learned a lot about BJDs by watching their videos. If you haven’t seen their videos I think you should check them out. They give you helpful tips about doll changing the dolls eyes, how to choose your doll and more. I had also been looking at a few BJD sites to see what type of doll I want and from what company. After two years I am finally going to get one. I am so excited! I can’t wait to show her and share my BJD hobby to whoever reads this blog.
